Custom Metal Fabrication.
In-house CNC machining, shearing, bending and welding in Little Falls, MN. The aluminum fabrication shop behind every DMP awning — and a service in its own right.
Machined, sheared, bent & welded.
Four core processes under one roof — the backbone of every awning frame we ship.
CNC Machining
Billet brackets and plates cut to spec, repeatable part after part.
In-HouseShearing
Clean, straight cuts on heavy aluminum stock for square, true parts.
In-HouseBending / Forming
Crisp, consistent bends that hold shape under load.
In-HouseWelding
Oversized 1.5″ × 2″ × .125″ wall aluminum A-frames built to race.
In-HouseClear-Anodized Billet
Billet brackets and plates anodized to resist corrosion and stay clean.
In-HouseAssembly & Finish
Hardware, fit-up, and finishing done before it ever leaves the shop.
In-House
More than frames.
The awning frames come first, but the same equipment handles a lot more for race teams and shops that need metal done right.
- Awning A-frames & mounts in heavy-wall aluminum.
- Billet brackets & plates, CNC-cut and anodized.
- Custom parts & one-offs for trailers and rigs.
- Re-covers & modifications to existing setups.

Built in aluminum.
We work primarily in aluminum — light, strong, and corrosion-resistant for a life on the road.
Fabrication questions.
Do you do fabrication work that isn't an awning?+
Yes. The awning frames keep the shop busy, but we machine, shear, bend, and weld custom aluminum parts and one-offs too. Send us the details and we'll let you know what we can do.
What materials do you work in?+
Primarily aluminum, including clear-anodized billet for brackets and plates, finished with stainless hardware. It's the same material set that goes into our race-proven awning frames.
Can you re-cover or modify my existing awning frame?+
Often, yes. If you don't need a whole new awning, we can build a fresh cover for your frame or add span and modifications. Tell us what you're working with on a quote.
Why does in-house fabrication matter?+
Because machining, sewing, and printing all happen under one roof, parts fit the way they're designed to and one shop stays accountable for the whole build — no outsourcing, no finger-pointing.
