01 — Ordering & Quotes

Getting started.

How do I get a quote?+

Send us your trailer and how you run through the quote form, or just call or email. Tell us the trailer make and size, what you're after, any sponsor graphics, and your timeline — we'll come back with specs and next steps.

Is the quote really free?+

Yes — free quote on every project, no obligation. We'd rather spec it right with you up front than surprise you later.

What information do you need from me?+

The trailer make and size, the side you want the awning on, how you use the rig (race, hospitality, display/vendor, RV), and any sponsor or branding artwork. Our measure & install guide walks through the exact dimensions.

Do I have to be local to Minnesota?+

Not at all. We build in Little Falls, MN and ship nationwide, and we handle the whole process by phone and email. Most of our customers aren't local.

02 — Build & Specs

What you're getting.

What is the awning made of?+

Heavy, oversized 1.5″ × 2″ × .125″ wall aluminum A-frames, clear-anodized billet brackets and plates, stainless hardware, and a sewn fabric cover with a one-piece zipper. It's built in-house from raw stock to finished cover — see our metal fabrication page for how.

How wide is the awning?+

Our awnings free-hang 12 to 14 feet with no legs in the work area, and every one is custom-built to your trailer. Send your dimensions and we'll spec the right size.

Does the awning have legs or poles?+

No — the free-hanging design keeps the work area clear, so you can roll a car under it and your crew works without tripping over supports.

What comes standard versus as an option?+

Standard: quick connect/disconnect, CNC-machined custom fit, heavy aluminum A-frames, clear-anodized billet, stainless hardware, one-piece zipper, and a fabric storage bag. Options: digital printing, internal electrical, internal air, and your choice of colors and fabrics. The full list is on the awnings page.

Can you re-cover or modify an awning I already have?+

Often, yes. If you don't need a whole new awning, we can build a fresh cover for your existing frame or add span and modifications. Tell us what you've got on a quote.

03 — Shipping & Install

Getting it on your rig.

Do you ship nationwide?+

Yes. Every awning is built in Little Falls, MN and shipped to your shop or trackside anywhere in the United States.

How do I measure my trailer for an awning?+

Follow our step-by-step measure & install guide and the how-to video. We also confirm every key dimension with you before anything is built.

Is the awning hard to install?+

No. It's designed to mount to your trailer with the included hardware, and the quick connect/disconnect system makes setup and teardown fast. The resources hub has the video walkthrough.

How do I store it between events?+

Every awning ships with a fabric storage bag. The one-piece zipper and quick-disconnect hardware make it quick to pack down and load back into the trailer.

04 — Customization & Graphics

Make it yours.

Can you print our sponsor graphics on the awning?+

Yes. We print full-color sponsor graphics and branding directly into the awning fabric on our in-house large-format printers — not stuck on as a decal.

What colors and fabrics can I choose?+

Many color and fabric options are available so your awning matches your wrap and team colors. See the fabric & color options guide, then we'll confirm choices on your quote.

Can you add lighting or air to the awning?+

Yes — internal electrical runs wiring inside the frame for lighting and power, and internal air builds air lines into the frame for pit-side convenience. Both are options on any build.

Do I need finished artwork?+

No. Bring print-ready files or just a concept — our in-house graphic design team will build or clean up the artwork before it prints.

05 — Trailers & Uses

What we build for.

What types of trailers do you build awnings for?+

Race trailers, hospitality trailers, sales, display and vendor trailers, RVs, and custom applications. If your rig has a clean edge to mount to, we can likely build for it.

Do you build awnings for RVs?+

Yes. If your RV or custom trailer has a clean mounting edge, we can measure and build a custom-fit awning for it. Send us the details and we'll tell you what's possible.

Are you really a race team?+

We are. Owner Dean Dubbin drives a Top Alcohol Dragster, so the demands of the track are first-hand for us — that's why our awnings are built the way they are. Meet the DMP Racing team.

Still have a question?

Tell us about your trailer and how you run it — we'll answer it and spec an awning dialed in for you.
