Race Trailer Awnings built to race.

Custom race trailer awnings engineered for the pits — heavy aluminum frames, quick connect/disconnect, and a free-hanging span that keeps your work area clear. Built in-house in Little Falls, MN and shipped to racers nationwide.

Your awning takes a beating — thrown up and torn down every weekend, baked in the sun, loaded back into the trailer wet. A DMP race awning is built for exactly that. We machine, weld, sew, and print every awning under one roof, custom-fit to your hauler, so it goes up fast, hangs clean over your work area, and holds its shape season after season. It's the same awning we'd hang on our own rig — because we do.

01 — Why a DMP race awning

Dialed in for the track.

Everything about a race awning is different from a backyard one. Here's what that buys you trackside.

  • Free-hanging 12–14 ft span. No legs or poles in your work area — cars roll under it, crew works under it, nothing to trip the air hose on.
  • Quick connect / disconnect. Tool-light setup and teardown so you're racing, not wrestling hardware, when the lanes call.
  • Heavy aluminum A-frames. Oversized 1.5″ × 2″ × .125″ wall aluminum that shrugs off the road and holds its shape.
  • Custom-fit to your trailer. CNC-machined to your exact rig for a tight, finished fit — never a one-size part bolted on.
  • Clear-anodized billet & stainless. Billet brackets and stainless hardware that look clean and don't corrode in dew, rain, or wash-down.
  • Sponsor graphics, printed in. Full-color branding printed straight into the fabric turns your awning into trackside signage.
02 — Standard, not upcharges

Everything included.

A lot of shops nickel-and-dime the features that actually matter at the track. On a DMP awning they're standard equipment, every time:

  • One-piece zipper — not a paid add-on.
  • Fabric storage bag ships with every awning.
  • Stainless mounting hardware throughout.
  • Clear-anodized billet brackets and plates.

07 — FAQ

Race awning questions.

The things racers ask us most before they order.

How wide is the awning and does it have legs?+

Our race awnings free-hang 12–14 feet with no legs or poles in your work area — you can roll a car under it and your crew works clear of any obstruction. The span is part of a custom-fit build matched to your trailer.

Will it stand up to a full season of racing?+

That's what it's built for. Oversized aluminum A-frames, clear-anodized billet brackets, stainless hardware, and a one-piece zipper are all standard, so the awning holds up to repeated setup, teardown, sun, and weather weekend after weekend.

Can you print our sponsor graphics on it?+

Yes — that's a big reason teams come to us. We print full-color sponsor graphics directly into the awning fabric on our in-house large-format printers, so your branding reads clean from across the pits.

Do you ship to racers outside Minnesota?+

We build in Little Falls, MN and ship nationwide. Wherever you run, we can get an awning to you. Request a quote and we'll handle the details.

How do I measure my trailer for an awning?+

Follow our step-by-step measure & install guide and the how-to video, or call us and we'll walk you through it. More answers live on the full FAQ page.
